Realtors can be a benefit for FSBO’s too.??Work with Realtors who are willing to bring you a buyer. Selling your home privately can save you money in commissions, but a Realtor can still bring you a buyer and take the stress out of the negotiating, as well as the contract side of the sale.

- Find out the true current market value of your property before listing.
- Determine how badly you need to sell, this is indicate how to competitively price your property to sell.
- Be flexible when working with Realtors and buyers. Sometimes the first offer you get is the best one you will get. Follow your Realtors professional advice.
- Make sure your property is de-cluttered and free of too many personal pictures and items; make use of a staging company for advice if possible.
- Make minor small repairs and fixes before you start having open houses and a stream of potential buyers through. If they come once and see it in a state of disrepair, they won’t come back later to see if it has been fixed!
